Dan Stahler
Wildlife Biologist, Yellowstone National Park
Daniel Stahler is the Yellowstone Wolf Project’s lead biologist and the project leader of the Yellowstone Cougar Project. In addition, he helps manage the park’s elk program and serves as the threatened and endangered species coordinator for Yellowstone National Park, working with species such as grizzly bears, lynx, and wolverine. He recently co-edited and co-authored the book Yellowstone Wolves: Science and Discovery in the World’s First National Park published 2020 by University of Chicago Press.
