Wildlife Biology Journal
International Wolf Symposium Special Issue
Wildlife Biology Journal is proud to be the official scientific outlet of the 2026 International Wolf Symposium!
Wildlife Biology Journal hereby invites papers for a Special Issue, as an outcome of the 2026 International Wolf Symposium in Minnetonka, MN, USA.
Theme: “Wolves in a Changing World”
Abstract categories:
- Wolf Ecology, Behavior and Genetics
- Wolf Management and Policy
- Wolf-Human Conflict and Coexistence
- Communication, Education and Outreach
This Special Issue welcomes high-quality theoretical, empirical, and practical articles on all aspects of wolf science, from wolf ecology and behavior to the social and governance dimensions of wolf management.
Note that papers included in a special issue are, on average, more downloaded and read than an average paper. By being part of a special issue, your research will get greater visibility and outreach, and ultimately more citations.
Submissions should adhere to the journal’s formatting and citation style guidelines. All manuscripts will undergo peer review by experts in the field to ensure scientific rigor and quality. Please note that submitting a paper to a special issue does not guarantee acceptance of the paper.
Once a paper is ready, it will be published on Early View, and therefore does not have to wait for publication until all papers in the Special Issue are ready.
