Wildlife Program Manager for the San Juan Citizens Alliance and Board Member for the Rocky Mountain Wolf Project

Gary grew up in western Pennsylvania, just north of Pittsburgh. He received a B.S. in Wildlife Management from the University of New Hampshire in 1978 and an M.S. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University in 1981. He served as a biologist with the Colorado Division of Wildlife from 1986 through 2021. Gary currently is the Wildlife Program Manager for the San Juan Citizens Alliance, a regional environmental group based in Durango.
