North Carolina Program Manager/Wildlife Biologist, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Red Wolf Recovery Program

Joe has been a wildlife biologist for the Federal government for 30 years, including the past 10 as the Red Wolf Recovery Program’s North Carolina Program Manager. Joe has focused his career working on various aspects of endangered and at-risk species management, including direct species management, collaborative partnerships, habitat management, National Environmental Policy Act compliance, stakeholder engagement, etc., on species such as red wolves, black bears, Cuban boa, gray wolves, California condor, grizzly bear, Canada lynx and many others.
