Senior Research Scientist with the Wolf Conservation Center’s Integrative Ecology and Coexistence Lab
Joey is the Senior Research Scientist at the Wolf Conservation Center’s Integrative Ecology and Coexistence Lab (WCC-IECL). His work focuses on the ecology, management, and conservation of mammalian carnivores, particularly red wolves and coyotes. Using field methods such as mark-recapture, radio tracking, and GIS, his research explores population dynamics, species interactions, and hybridization. In collaboration with the USFWS Red Wolf Recovery Program, he has investigated key factors influencing red wolf ecology and interactions with coyotes.
